A one-of-a-kind collaboration with New York Vintage, the Maida Headpiece is crafted using antique millinery trim. The 1950s woven raffia bow and antique woven-cotton floral veil are reimagined in a contemporary headpiece, reflecting the shared belief of Jennifer Behr and New York Vintage that great design stands the tests of time. "We think of them as future vintage, or pieces that are long-lasting and can be worn for many years to come," says Jennifer. Each piece in the Jennifer Behr x New York Vintage collection is one of a kind and any "imperfections" in the materials are intentional and part of the history of the trims and materials in this collection.

This partnership arose from Jennifer’s desire to create ornate headpieces handcrafted from vintage materials with a rich fashion history. New York Vintage’s collection is similarly world-renowned, incorporating archival couture RTW and antique accessories sourced across the globe. Jennifer worked with materials from New York Vintage's archives to create new pieces that carry forth the soul of vintage into modern and wearable ways.
