The Jeanine Earrings are a collaboration between Jennifer Behr and French-American creator Léanne Ansar, known for her signature brand of digital storytelling that transports the viewer into a world of fantasy, where dreams become reality. An earring for day-to-day dressing and special occasions alike, Léanne imagines Jeanine as a woman with windswept hair, wandering a museum rich with Florentian culture, admiring the works of da Vinci and Botticelli, and allowing this to inspire her daily dress. Made by hand in New York with an 18-karat gold-plated finish, their fantastical shape is an enhanced version of an everyday hoop, created with a piece of vintage gallery wire— a material most often used in architectural design. The Jeannine Earrings are made by hand in New York from 18K gold plated brass. They have a surgical-steel post, are nickel-free, and safe for sensitive skin. We recommend storing earrings in their dust bag while not in use, and avoiding contact with water, perfume, hairspray, and other chemicals.
