The Casablanca Headband was inspired by the exquisite embroidery on an original 1920s flapper dress, incorporating at least 15 different embroidery techniques in a single headpiece with unparalleled impact. Made by hand in New York, it features three-dimensional hand-embroidered silk tulle leaves, and Austrian crystal-embroidered flowers, with cut crystal beading throughout. Situated on a silk ribbon-wrapped base, the leave are hand wired, in a time-intensive process that allows the silhouette to be manipulated, creating more or less height by bending the shapes.
The Casablanca Headband is made of hand-embroidered 3D leaves featuring cut crystal beads and Austrian crystal covered floral accents on a silk ribbon wrapped steel headband base for weightless comfort. We recommend treating this headband as you would a piece of jewelry, and storing it in the dust bag when not in use. Avoid contact with water, perfume, and other chemicals, including hairspray, which should be used before placement in the hair.
